About Dr. Terrence Crowder
Dr. Terrence Crowder is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon dedicated to helping patients overcome neck and back conditions through advanced surgical and non-surgical treatment options. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University, earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas Medical School, and went on to complete his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Duke University. Dr. Crowder further specialized in spine surgery through fellowship training at William Beaumont Hospitals in Michigan.
As a member of the North American Spine Society, American Medical Association, and Arizona Orthopaedic Society, Dr. Crowder is recognized for his expertise, compassionate patient care, and commitment to restoring mobility and quality of life. He serves patients throughout the East Valley and is affiliated with numerous leading hospitals and surgical centers across Arizona.

As a board-certified, fellowship-trained spine surgeon, he performs advanced procedures such as minimally invasive spine surgery, microdiscectomy, spinal decompression, spinal fusion, artificial disc replacement, and revision spine surgery. Dr. Crowder takes a patient-centered approach, carefully evaluating each individual’s condition and considering conservative treatment options when appropriate before recommending surgery. When operative intervention is necessary, his goal is to relieve pain, restore function, improve mobility, and help patients return to their daily activities with the best possible long-term outcome.
